Oh ok im not really sure if online will do.. coz my husband got his copy from his tax guy..

You should go to march thread.. i think most of them can help you abd give u info that u need ;)

I had the same question and called NVC to ask exactly this.

They said you should send copies of your tax returns and copies of the W2s.

I asked... can I just submit the online transcripts? They answered... no.

So, personally, I am sending copies of the tax returns and the online transcripts.

It is better they have extra information than have to wait (I don't know how long) for them to review your case after they had missed documents.

Hey... one question...

How long does it take for the IV fee be available for payment?

I've been waiting 7 days already.

Hello Everyone,

I haven't received my NOA2 for my case yet so I put an inquiry in last week. Today I received the following in email from USCIS:

"The status of this service request is:

We have placed this case on a processing hold because there are required security checks that remain pending on it. Until we receive the results of these security checks, we cannot move forward on your case. We require the results of security checks before we make a decision on any pending case.

We cannot predict when we will receive the results of these security checks. Please be assured that we will make every effort to make a decision in your case as soon as the security checks are complete.

We hope this information is helpful to you."

Does anyone know what security checks they are referring too? If so, then any idea on how long we are going to have to wait?

I got the same response. The names of all petitioners and beneficiaries undergo background checks. The names are sent to agencies and they report back to the USCIS. No one can tell you how long the background checks take. I asked this question at my InfoPass appointment and she told me it can take up to year or more. Hopefully you don't have to wait much longer.

Hello everybody... I hava a question...

I have paid the AOS fee, completed the DS-261, but still have not received the IV fee. I am waiting for it.

Can I send the financial and supporting documents together already? Of course, we have not filled the DS-260 yet because that will be available after we pay the IV fee.

Thank you!

hello everyone!

Congrats to all those whose application is now at NVC.

those still waiting for USCIS, be hopeful and keep praying. You'll get it when you least expect it.

I'm the beneficiary waiting in India. My husband got the letter from NVC. i havent heard anything from the USCIS/NVC directly.

My husband chose the Agent and after that i got a confirmation of agent mail from NVC.

Are we on the right track? Was i supposed to recieve communication through e- mail or postal mail ? Should i check at the post office?

I am still having a bit of a dilemma about which form should I use for AOS, plain I-864 or the I-864EZ.

I am the petitioner and am only petitioning my wife alone.

I am using only my earnings to qualify with NO joint sponsor.

Shall I use the I-864EZ then? Anyone here sent I-864EZ personally?
