What the consul said about 60 day-AP is just an estimate. There's no specific timeline for AP. It could take weeks, months or even years.

Hang in there.

There's nothing you can do once you are in AP but wait. Have you emailed the embassy and asked. Stating its been 60 days. Even though 60 days means nothing doesn't mean they will be done they just give that # out so you will leave them alone.

As you see on the site Ready means exactly what it says nothing more it means nothing since you had interview.

You need to email the embassy and inquire. Lagosiv@state.gov

Be sure to have your case# and Beneficiaries name in the subject line.

You say husband but you have K1 on your profile. Which Visa are you going for?

Yes I did times without number but the only thing they could say is its not yet complete but they did not even told us why they put us on AP bcos we have all our document complete

Sorry for your delay. But they don't ever tell you why you are in AP. You just have to be patient and wait.

They put people on AP when the IO has a few things he/she needs to investigate further . Once the field reports comes back with no "red flags" your family will be granted the visa. You just have to wait and maybe inquire every two weeks.
