I will have my fiance do that monday....but is there a point if the inquiry says that the USCIS no longer has the petition and can't do anything about it? By the referance number do you mean the referral ID on the inquiry?

Approval letters are sent in error everyday? What do you mean...that some people get noa2's but aren't really approved for the k1?

Yes the referral ID. What I am telling you is you need to hear verifiable word that they indeed approved you and sent put your petition.

People get NOA2 emails and such in error all the time. it happens. USCIS in no way is a fool proof organization. Right now I have yet to hear you report anything was sent anywhere. Just you were approved and they no longer have jurisdiction.

Just call so you can than know what your next move should be. I doubt it has been sent from service center honestly.

Well, we did get a physical NOA2, and the case status on the website confirms that also, so how could that be a mistake?

I will definitely have my fiance call them. This is so frustrating and i am close to giving up, it's been freaking 3 months since the approval.

I'm not saying this is your case. But yes the I-797 (NOA2) was sent out status changed when it was sent in error it happens. And please don't give up. It will all work on and things will continue.

Also another avenue for you after you call USCIS and if they can't tell you is make an InfoPass appointment and go to your local USCIS office and talk to a supervisor in person.

I think the call tomorrow you are going to be surprised that your petition was probably just sent to NVC. so expect 30 days from that date.

They are a K1 what you say about the NVC process doesn't apply to them.

You have to realize you are talking tp operators who read a screen they see approved and sent they have no clue when or what. Only the tier 2 supervisor has access to the specific date a petition is sent out.

That's why you need to call tomorrow and specifically ask "when did my petition physically leave the service center and sent to NVC?". "It was sent to NVC and not NRC, correct?"

Many people "get my petition was sent today" and it doesn't actually get physically shipped for weeks maybe months. Plz call.
