Just approved for AP, now need to book a flight in the US.

Hooray, we've been approved for the EAD and AP as of yesterday! My question here is this: we need to travel to Florida from California this coming October. Her EAD/AP card will no doubt have her married name, but her passport will have her maiden name. Should I book the flight using the Passport or the AP for a domestic flight?

I've read that international flights will require the passport to match the ticket, but I'm unsure about domestic.

Thanks for the advice!

Check TSA and see if they accept EAD combo card as ID. If not, then passport name with passport.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

Great, just read up about the EAD and TSA. Looks like I'll just book with her Passport and bring the EAD with our marriage certificate just in case. Thanks for the help!

If she gets a driver's license, then that's all she would need for ID on a domestic flight. You won't be going through an immigration line that requires a passport to be admitted to Florida from California. Her EAD/AP card alone could be photo ID.
