Help with one of the forms for the K-1 Visa

Hi! My name is Pablo and I am from Spain, we have a doubt with one of the questions we saw in the forms and I hope somebody can help us.

In one of the questions, they ask my girfriend to detail her last 5 years of employement.

One year and a half ago, my girfriend came to spain with a 6 months visa (she found a job as an english teacher in an academy in Madrid and that's why she could get the visa) but after one month working there, she left the job because she didnt like it.

She stayed with me in Madrid those 6 months (she didnt work anymore) but now we dont know how to explain this in the form. I mean we are 'scared' to write that she was working here all the time, because apparently they check everything you write in the forms.

Can somebody help us?

In any of the forms, the golden rule is: do not lie, because, as you said, they can/may/will find out!

Just have her list the teaching job in Madrid as one month. They usually will not ask why. For example, it could have been a short one-month job for just one course... they don't really care. Just list everything truthfully!

That should not be an issue. The USCIS is not concerned with WHY she was in Spain for whatever time. They ask for employment history to see how stable her financial record is. As Elizabeth+Fred said, the rule of thumb is to provide the correct information.

I did not work for two years so I just listed "none" on my G325a (I am the petitioner) and listed the dates, and even that is acceptable. I had a lawyer review our application.

If they had a visa from Spain and they did not meet the term of that visa, then Spain would be the one to possibly have a problem with it and care. The US government and USCIS do not regulate visas from other countries. This will have no affect on the I-129F petition. List the one month employment in Spain. It does not ask about a visa from Spain or why she was employed there. It doesn't matter.

A copy of the visa and passport stamp can be used as proof of meeting though.
