I think it's interesting that a few people on these boards think that accusations of racism and bigotry are baseless cliches.

But this is it. These posters would have everyone believe that nothing they post is bigoted or racist and that it's all about evil lefty liberals trying to silence voices that disagree with them and shut down discussion.

That image is clearly bigoted as it implies that muslims, as a whole, are responsible for Benghazi.

There is no point, though, because if one disagrees with any claim then that person will just be put in a "lefty bucket" and then called names. I guess it is good to stand against it, though.

Some people want to believe what they want to believe, because it makes them feel good, even if it doesn't reflect reality.

The sad part, for me, is that special interest groups prey on people like this, selling their story because people want to believe it, so much. Like if you have a gun you will be safe from when the gov comes to get you.

Yeah I saw that during the Presidential elections I saw when I lived in the US. People's voting choices determined by soundbites, and 30 second election broadcasts.

"Candidate A, says he believes X but he does Y. Vote for Candidate B".

The text in the image states quite specifically that muslims in general are responsible for Benghazi. That is bigoted, since it is clearly incorrect. Unless of course, you make no distinction between muslims and extremists.

If that's not what you believe, then you shouldn't post things that suggest otherwise.

You say it is fact, but it is not. It is a biased opinion based on prejudice. You might not want to believe that's the case, but that's just self-delusion.
