looking at things online at the payment portal?

are you doing electronic processing for Mexico ?

casefile start with CDJ or MEP ?

------------

What's the status on filing the DS-261 ?

-----------

You're supposed to send in the documents after the payment is cleared, per thing.

Payment Cleared on the AOS set? Send in the AOS thing.

Payment Cleared on the IV Set? Send in the IV Thing.

-------------

Back at the payment portal - are coversheets that pop up once a payment is cleared. I say go back and try to download a coversheet. Then report back with status/progress.

--------

the answer to your question: Send in the CIVIL DOCUMENTS after you pay the IV Fee - usually 5 days after paying the fee, the coversheet is available to download and print.

Case starts with CDJ

AOS: PAID

IV: PAID

IV APP: Completed

DS-261: Completed

We sent I-864 with cover page to the address on the cover page like I said a few months ago, but indicates N/A. Civil Documents shows N/A as well.

I am processing within the US

It's a new thing they're doing and I'm not sure how it works, but ignore it as you've already sent it. It may be that they haven't reviewed it yet.

ya, this is something new.

old crusty oldtimers like myself never waited on that, using james shortcuts, LingChe's shortcuts and some other shortcut entries in the wiki -

where

we sent stuff off AS SOON AS those coversheets were able to be printed - usually after the thing was marked PAID.

So - disregard that other stuff - if'n the payment status is PAID - print the coversheets and go forth.

There are TWO coversheets - one for IV, one for AOS.

Go Get Em, and Good Luck !

Will send the documents as soon as possible, my question now is, why does it show N/A under Affidavit (I-864) when I already sent it with a cover sheet.

I have read on previous post that it will show N/A even when they receive the supporting documents. So don't worry but make sure USPS has delivered your package, if you have a tracking number.

I have sent all my docs such as aos, civil docs a month ago and it still say N/A... so just track that it got delivered. I overnighted mine through FedEx, I've heard that USPS losses documents all the time so I didn't want to risk it. And as soon as your tracker says it is delivered, call NVC to make sure they have it. Then they take 30 business to review your civil docs before they will update anything.
