On June 12 I put a 17 lb box in the mail to Ghana and my choices were 1-3 days for $485.00 or 3-5 days for $140.00. It has now been 11 days and it has still not arrived.

I've tried to call the Post Office but I can not get anyone to answer so I was hoping one of you Magnificent 7 :dancing: might have some insight.

The Post Office can only track the package until it leaves the US (Friday 10:28pm, June 13 it left Chicago in route to Ghana). I selected a family address in the capital in order to save time (lol) and maybe unfortunately, it was to a family owned pharmacy. Now that its been so long, I think the fact that it was heavy and going to a pharmacy made it more attractive to look through - and that's ok.

What is in the box is the rest of our original and certified documents and a complete copy of all the petitions, forms, applications and evidence as well as a few videos, some cookies and a shirt to wear to the interview on July 9.

I have the custom tracking number but can't seem to figure out where to track it. Do any of you know?

Thanks.

Did you try putting the Customs # in the tracking box at usps.com ? Unfortunately I'm not one of the Magnificent Seven, but give it a shot and see what happens. Nature Boy is the expert on the Magnificent Seven.:devil:

Spooky, I will always consider you being one of the Magnificent Seven! Just so you guys know, there was nothing I could do about the box until I heard from Customs what the problem was. It all ended well though and we found the box yesterday.

Thanks anyway (she says as she slyly pulls her sunglasses down her nose a bit, looks over the top and winks)

Never believe those delivery times the USPS gives. Read the fine print you'll see they're not guaranteed times on most packages in the USA, and there is no way to get a get a guarantee for overseas. Glad your package made it. Waiting on one to arrive for my wife's overseas family now, a 3 to 5 days one that is getting close to 3 weeks now.

try tracking it here:

and report back the result, using the USPS-issued tracking #.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
