Priority dates are only for visas that have a numerical cut off (ie only so many visas issued each year). The spousal visa for spouses of US citizens has no such problem, so your petition and visa application will be processed asap.

If your question really is how quickly you get an interview after NOA2, that largely depends on your country, and how busy that embassy is (and how quickly you can get the affadavit of support docs to them, the medical and police certs etc done). You may want to ask about interview wait times in the country specific forum.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Thank you for your help. As for the Affadavit of support docs and birth certificate and police are waiting to be mailed to the NVC. I just need to have my medical done. Is that about right or what is your opinion. I will take any help I can get in understanding all of this

Once you get your interview date than you can go forward and get your medical. Very few countries allow early medicals. So get through NVC and case Complete than the waiting for Interview. You are good.
