I-864 Affidavit of Support confusion

Hi guys,

I am new here and have received my first Notice of Action for I-130, paid and completed the electronic payment option and am waiting for my invoice for AOS.

I have started filling out my Affidavit of support, but I'm stumped as early as question 1-

My wife (US citizen but has/is living in AU with myself) obviously will leave her job as will I and are moving to Connecticut to stay with her Uncle until we start our new jobs in the USA.

She (according to the NVC) is required to file an AOS for me, however we will have a joint sponsor (her uncle) that will be the financial heavy with needed for my approval.

My questions are:

On AOS forms you are supposed to only choose 1 option in question1 - but my wife is both 1a-the petitioner AND 1e-the first of 2 joint sponsors???

As we live in AU and are quitting our jobs, is proof of income a factor for her?

Her place of residency is in AU? so is that what I put or her Uncles house where we are moving?

Doesn't have USA tax forms as she has lived here (AU) since the age of 15

Sorry to come in here guns blazing but as everyone here knows its quite overwhelming and I am very confused and cautious as to the next steps.

oh ps----what is the official name of the Visa I'm actually applying for? I still haven't seen an explanation of it (coding wise)

no, your wife as the petitioner is the sponsor

in her i864 she will mark I am the sponsor, her uncle on his i864 will mark I am the only joint sponsor

You're not waiting for your AOS if you just filed your I130. You're waiting for your approval of the I130. After that, your case will be sent to the National Visa Center. Since your wife is living with you in Australia, you will need to be able to prove her proof of intention to re-establish her domicile in the US. You will need a co-sponsor in the US who meets the 125% poverty guidelines, as her income in Australia can't be used unless she will continue that income after she comes back to the US.
