Hi all. I received my welcome letter on March 31, 2014 after my EB3 was approved. My wife received her green card April 8, 2014, mine has yet to be mailed out. I have been checking the case status every week and the status has not changed. It says card has been ordered for production on April 3, 2014. I have made a couple of phone calls to USCIS and was told to wait another 60 days. I know its only been 2 months but has anybody experienced a delay like this? Im just concerned that my GC have yet to be printed when my wife's GC was sent right away. Please advise. Thanks.

I think you have a right to be concerned at this point. However, since the USCIS has asked you to wait another 60 days there really isn't much else you can do at this point. You are going to need to check every day your online case status to see if anything changes. Others may have better advice... Best of luck!

I even went to schedule an Infopass at a local USCIS office to talk to an Immigration Officer in person but it was a waste of time, the IO I spoke with was busy thinking of excuses rather than solving the problem. First she said there was trouble with the card printers, which I can understand but I dont think USCIS will leave their printers broke for days, or weeks. Then she gave me a stupid grin and said, it's not even two months since I received my welcome letter, she told me to schedule another Infopass when 60 days have passed from when I received the welcome letter. (it was a month and a half at the time). She did not even submit a service request to have the issue investigated. I still gave thanks to her for her time but deep inside I was real frustrated.

Yeah, there is something wrong, we had similar issues. Once the card has been ordered for production you should have it within a week or so, of not something has gone wrong. I contacted texas service centre by email and they said the card production had "failed" but that apparently triggered.... Nothing, until I contacted them, and then still ...nothing. After another of these interminable "wait 45 days" ..."wait 60 days" ... "Wait...." I contacted my congressperson, who sorted it out. Also see the "green card production after ELIS" thread in this forum.

Thats what Im afraid of, waiting for...nothing. I was told by the last USCIS rep that I spoke to that USCIS has until July 15, 2014 to respond to the most recent service request that was submitted. I'm still trying to stay positive but starting to get real frustrated with these USCIS reps that can't seem to run out of excuses. I'm planning to get my passport stamped next week hoping it will trigger something in the system to make them realize that something went wrong in printing my GC. Hope it works.
