hello everyone

i submitted both I-130 and I-129F in same month, my wife is US citizen, we got married months ago and shes in USA now and i am living abroad, i am checking processing times it shows that the I-130 cases are being processed now hav dates from last months of 2013, while I-129F for K3 are in march of this year, does that mean, or a chance that the I-129F will be approved before I-130 ?

The immigration process caused me PTSD.

Yes. Two chances, slim and none. Then, when both are approved the same day like they have been for several years, they'll both arrive at NVC together, where the I-129F will be administratively closed, like they have been since 2/1/2010.

will they be processed by the estimated processing times of i-129F which is March 2014 or I-130 which is December 2013 ? and do you have any idea if i requested to expedite it are they gonna reply me if accepted or denied and after how many days/weeks ?

The immigration process caused me PTSD.

USCIS is trying to get back to the 5 month standard from filing to decision, but timing has been varying quite a bit lately. It's best to consider the petition approval process, a black hole and the I-129F nothing more than a boat anchor that delayed your I-130 approval. Use the black hole time to learn and prepare for the NVC stage of the process, building your relationship and preparing the foreign spouse for a successful interview.

I'm sure you've already heard about the monthly NVC filers thread and Saylin's wiki. The wiki really gives you almost all the info you need.

We're very chatty on the NVC filers thread so it gets pretty unwieldy. I'd wait to really try to start following it until you get your approval.

Is your timeline updated?

Yes, but both spouses should start studying the wiki and upcoming forms now, so you are prepared for what is coming.
