I have a friend - his adult (early 20s) son has Asperger's. It's my only 1st hand experience (up close witness to) his behavior.

The kid becomes destructive when frustrated. He starts out ridiculing himself and then Bam! He starts breaking stuff. I am sad for him and scared of him at the same time. The look in his eyes when he snaps...the kid is really angry.

Bull. Just absolute BULL. Autism spectrum disorders (autism, aspergers, etc) do not create a greater propensity to murders or anything else of that nature.

You decided that you need to ban(or l limit) the AR-15 in several states ( NY, NJ, Conn ) because they were used in these mass shootings... But you refuse to allow these crazies to be put away where they are not a danger to society.... 2nd mass murder in 2 years .... political correctness running wild. Lets have another mass murder by these very sick people . (just to spare your feelings ) How many more killings do we have to endure before you put an end to the ticking time bombs. Limited access to society under very controlled circumstances is what is needed. .

The very vast majority of people with ASDs NEVER HURT ANYONE, EVER. Most would never even contemplate it and a majority you would think were a little 'weird' but would never guess they had an ASD.

This isn't political correctness, this is fact. Something like one in 88 children at age eight is diagnosable with an ASD. And yet one in 88 people doesn't commit a mass murder.

These people are not 'ticking time bombs.'
