Hello, I am ready to mail expedited citizenship application 319(b) for civilian living oversea. I am trying to figure out where to mail the form to. In the past, it used to be Phoenix office regardless of where you lived, but now I can't find information on where to mail the documents for 319(b) packet. Seems like forms and process were changed about 6 months ago. Has someone recently submitted 319b since the N-400 form changed with new instructions?

Glad you got that sorted out. You could have also done the fingerprints in an overseas embassy, specially if you were already outside the country. Thats what my wife did. We just sent the application last week, so we are waiting to hear news.

By the way, I sent it to the express mailing address in Phoenix!

Which office did you requested? We requested the office in Virginia since these are the most familiar with 319(b) applications. Also, in that office you should be able to get the interview, and oath same day as well as the naturalization certificate. In the DC passport office, you should be able to get the passport same day as well with expedited fees, as long as you say you're a US contractor overseas and proof you will be leaving the country soon.

Resource: my friend already went through this exact process.

Please let us know how it goes for you. And best of luck!

HI,

I have a question about expedited naturalization under 319 b. I applied twice to Phoenix office. Applications were returned to me twice, the first was because incorrect filing fees and the second because they've updated N-400 application and no longer recognize old forms.

I am getting all documents back together to refile. My wife has been working at American inistitue of research regognized by attorney general since feb 2013. Her contract is renewed on yearly bases. That is to say, contract expires in June 2014 with possiblity of expansion.

Will I be eligeible for 319b?

Where to file; Vermont or FAirfax?

Thanks

I sent my package directly to Vermont Service Center and it was received ok. I want to be interviewed at the Vermont office as many people say this center is familiar with 319b cases. I follow the link below:

http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/USCIS/About%20Us/Find%20A%20USCIS%20Office/International%20Offices/Expeditious%20Natz%20FAQ.pdf

But I just got the I-797C Notice of Action saying that i sent wrong application fee and they are waiting for my bio-metric fee. Actually, i am applying under 319b from overseas and the finger print cards were already included in the package. In the cover letter, i also clearly stated that i was applying under 319b from overseas.

I've searched and i am not the only one whom they said paid incorrect application fee. So, you'd better look into this matter because it may slow down the process and cause all schedule change.

Hi!

I am applying though the 319(b) too, how do I request the Virginia or DC office in my application?

Hi,

I was reading the topics you are all discussing and you have already done the works under 319b, I hope you can give me some ideas on this matter. I would like to use 319b for naturalization application but not sure if I am qualified. My status is as follows: LPR with CR1 and will expire May 2017, my husband is a US government employee stationed overseas and I am currently living with him as part of his orders (accompanied status), and his overseas tour will end December 2017. With my status am I qualified to use 319b for naturalization application? Thanks for any advice/comments.

Hopefully they filed, because Joyce was eligible to file in Sept, maybe even still now. The information given by Kireinamida is outdated.

"As a matter of policy, USCIS calculates the period of qualifying employment abroad from the time the applicant spouse properly files for naturalization. [17"
