what is going on with NVC

NVC received our file on the 16th April and they told us to wait for 30 days before we can get a case #

now i called again and the lady Joy saying we have to wait for 2 weeks

is the normal with NVC

yeah, it's normal, we waited 34 days for us, and i knew someone who waited 53 days, so wait patient and good luck to you!

We waited about 40 days... Hang in there!

2013-12-17: NOA2 approved (checked case status online)

2013-12-27: NOA2 (Hardcopy)

2014-01-31: NVC received case from USCIS

2014-03-12: Case # assigned

2014-03-13: DS-261 completed online & paid AOS fee

2014-03-20: sent AOS package

2014-03-30: NVC ERROR, had to resubmit DS-261 online

2014-04-07: received checklist from NVC, incomplete AOS package

2014-04-24: NVC received re-completed AOS package

2014-05-08: paid IV fee

2014-05-09: IV package sent

2014-05-11: DS-260 completed online

2014-05-15: NVC ERROR, had to resubmit DS-261 & DS-260 online

One thing happened to us when waiting on NVC....my fiancee received the letter from the embassy about the same time I was able to get the case # from NVC. Have her start monitoring her mailbox. Yes, I know...the mailbox could be in need of repair, but you never know. This was our experience.

Today I was told its 30 business days before you should call them!!!!!
