Yup We've been thinking of Annapolis, Crofton or Bowie. We don't know much about Maryland, husband has only been there for his job interview, so we'll probably just have to pick a place to live online and hope for the best!

Things are finally moving along. Had my medical done by Dr. Borgstrom last week. All in all a good experience - the doctor and all the nurses were very friendly, and most importantly, understanding of my fear of needles

My original interview date was Dec 8th, but I was able to get it rescheduled for Nov 19th So will I have to pay any fees at or prior to the interview? If I've learned anything during this process is not to believe anything they say on any of their websites

Congratulations on the interview date danica1! Since you've paid all the NVC related fees, the next fee is the ELIS fee, which you'll have to pay after the interview. They'll give you instructions on how to pay that with your visa package. Good luck!

So do I pay the ELIS fee before or after POE? They didn't say anything about it at any point, and if they gave me instructions they're in the sealed envelope and obviously can't open that

Congratulations! You can pay the ELIS fee before or after, but the sooner you pay, the sooner you get your residency card. The instructions should have been outside the envelope, maybe they forgot to give them to you? Anyways, you can just go to https://elis.uscis.dhs.gov/cislogin/login

and create an account and pay the fee.

Thanks! I think they just forgot. They were moving back to their old location and then there was the added mess with my medical docs (ended up doing my interview without them... long story ) But I got all the fees paid and am now safe and sound in VA!

My fiance had an exam with Dr. Anna Bank(Civil Surgeon) for vaccination requirements on October 15, 2014 to enter the USA on a K-1 Fiance Visa and we were given the DS-3025(Vaccination Document Worksheet) that is required to file for Adjustment of Status. It looks like all of the requirements for vaccinations are complete except for one which is the Influenza Vaccination, and CDC (Center for Disease Control) advised that if the medical has been performed between October 1st thru March 31st then she must receive that vaccination. Since she is now in the United States, is there a way of obtaining from Doctor Bank if she will have any problems with this not being completed? Or what we should do in terms of fixing this? Have any of you had a problem or any issues with getting an RFE. with Immigration without this vaccine? Any help would be great as I am worried

Sorry to hear about that Did she receive the flu shot? I haven't heard of anyone getting an RFE for flu shot, but I've heard people get RFE's for missing varicella information. If she did get the flu shot you might want to call Dr Back or maybe email palveluneuvoja@eiransairaala.fi and ask about it. Maybe she can email you and you can attach her message that to your AoS. If she didn't get the flu shot, maybe you can either get one in the U.S and attach proof to AoS or you can wait and see if you will get RFE? Or maybe Dr Back can email and explain why she is missing the flu shot (maybe it was not available yet?) I'm sorry I don't have a better answer for you

Okay I sent an email to that address..... I looked up the vaccination requirements and apparently you need to have it if you had your exam within the "flu season" time period which is October 1st - March 31st and she said it was not needed. Looking over her DS-3025 with the vaccinations she has all that is needed except for the Influenza. I mean sure we will be sending it in and hoping we will not get an RFE but it would upset me greatly if we had to find a civil surgeon in the USA just to get her a silly flu shot and have to pay to have the entire I-693 form filled completely out again which will be expensive. I am unsure of what to do since well calling there will be quite expensive and I saw there was no way to contact the Doctor directly. She had no issues at POE and the report has the box checked that the vaccination requirements for the US were complete. :/ She did not have a varicella vaccine and I did not see that on the requirements. she had 2 Td shots, 2 of the DT,DTP,DTaP, 3 of the IPV shots, 2 shots of MMR, and 3 shots for the Hepatitis
