Still waiting :( received NAO1 on March 28. Haven't heard a word yet. Really starting to get upset with the filers that are passing us up. Don't understand what the hold up is. TSC needs to step it up a little!!!

I spoke to a Tier 2 officer last week. He just told me that they were back logged and to call back if I haven't heard anything by October 24. Not what I wanted to hear! After I posted on this forum last night, I checked my status update. Surprisingly it moved but of course an RFE was issued. Have no idea what it could be. I checked and rechecked everything 10 times before I sent it. Just so frustrating :(

I am so sorry! Hopefully it will be a quick fix. People say things go quickly after an RFE.

:( I don't understand why some people get "left behind." Hoping it comes soon for you.

My petition finally arrived at NVC. The current status says it is "at NVC," and says to follow instructions in a letter from NVC. My question is this: do they really send a letter with useful instructions?

I emailed the Belize embassy after our petition was approved to see if I can get a list of requirements from them, including doctors for medical, etc. However, they emailed back and told me that would be in a letter from NVC. Is that really the case? There are so few people with beneficiaries from Belize, that it is hard to get any information ahead of time. I know many of you start doing stuff as soon as it gets to NVC, but I am not sure what to do at this point, but I definitely want to do all I can to hurry it along.

I was given the same runaround but did not receive a drop dead date. They just said I was within normal processing times. I think he was annoyed waiting 5 minutes for me to stop laughing, but anyway, I then engaged my congressman (last week) to try and get this resolved.

Sometimes I wonder if the folks at TSC use RFE's and extended security checks as a sort of punishment for pushing them. I can't believe it is merely a coincidence that so many people receive a RFE or are told they are still undergoing security checks after speaking with Tier 2 or a congressional representative contacts them. It is almost like a "time out".

I am like you...I checked, rechecked and then rechecked everything 10 times with my check list but since I contacted T2 and congress, I bet I will receive a RFE or information that I am still undergoing security checks which is crazy as it only takes a few days. Sigh.

Last week I asked an officer how much longer it would be until I hear something. She told me they take the cases in the order in which they are received <_< I told her there were plenty of people who filed at the same time or even after I, to which she told me not to worry about other cases and to just think about my own  So, then I proceeded by telling her I knew they transferred people from TSC to CSC and now the people at CSC were being processed much more quickly. I asked her how they chose which filers would be transferred and she told me she couldn't say, simply that they process the cases in the order they are received. I wonder if calling does put us in "time-out," or if they think, "get this girl out of here so we don't have to deal with her anymore."

Thanks! About how long does it usually take to get packet 3 after NVC receives it? I know, I know, asking for time frame is somewhat ridiculous, but any ballpark numbers?
