Event Description

Embassy Review : My fiancé had his medical today with Dr.Cheema. Everything went smooth and now he's waiting for his interview. He said the staff and doctor were really friendly. There were a couple changes from what we previously read about the medical. Now the fee is $285 and they will take cash or debit. Also, they now require 4 passport photos. The lady at the desk told him she was pretty sure that he would just need 2 at the interview. If you need more made, there is a London Drug store close by and they do passport photos. The only inconvenience about this trip is the wait time from the medical to the interview. My fiancé is from Edmonton so he had to fly to Vancouver and stay for 5 nights to get all of this done. Interviews were only scheduled for Tuesdays and a day between the medical is needed to pick up results so he has to stay the whole weekend to accomplish all of this. We are both so excited that this is almost over!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
