This morning I checked to see the status of our case on the USCIS website and this is the message it displayed
Initial Review

On may 27, 2014, your address was changed relating to the I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN that you filed. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance

Does anyone know what this means? Does it mean they moved it from MSC? Or did they make a mistake and change my address?? Dont know how this would be as we filed from abroad with only one address, but you never know....

Thanks for any info

It means an address was changed on your file. Ask your lawyer if he did something

We know your situation as you keep posting the same things over and over. It's going to take time even with expedites. You will have to request another one at the next stage as well. You need to send your wife ahead of you to start treatment.

Good to read she started treatment....I hope she gets the complete medical help she needs soon.

There are good Drs in Morocco, though It is no comparing to the condition your wife is in.... I had an experience with a private physican that Traveled and had practiced both in France and Maroc and found to my surprise the care was very good efficiant and affordable there. He was in private practice, in one appointment did an ultra sound, diagnosis and prescribed great medicines that gave me releif in a day and cured in weeks.

My husband was constatny telling me before this incident, that they have good medical services in his country. I was very grateful to recover.

Now I do understand I paid with U.S. dollars and MAD would have been a stretch for others there but here in the U.S. It would have cost thousands for my treatment (with out ins.)and probably scheduled separate appt for the ultra sound then results etc....There IS competent medical help in Morocco. And great pharmacutial supplies from France.

If wife has nobody in the U.S. and she has been living with you in Morocco not working .... WHO is sponsoring you on the VISA? This will be an important factor even if the expidite for an interview is granted.

I feel your words of love for her in all your posts but If it is so serious (Ovarian Cancer? stage 4 you wrote) Then VISA approvals should take second or third priority over your wife getting medical help.

Presumably she will sign up for Medicaid, that takes time and the selection of Doctors and Facilities is not that good.

Healthcare in the US can be good if you can afford it.

I agree with Inluv and everyone else about getting your wife medical treatment asap. That should be a priority.

But there are two questions that you both need to answer on your petition. If you don't have a convincing answer for them, then it will be denied again.

1) Who will be your wife's co-sponsor? I am assuming since she has been with you in Morocco, she hasn't been working or have a steady income source to show for the AOS. Who will take care of her and you in America?

2) Does she even have a place in the US that she calls home? She would need to establish a place of domicile. Where would you both call "your home" when you both arrive in America?

Good luck & best wishes to you two. Speedy recovery for your wife too!

Inluv and ismael&blair make great points. If your wife has nothing/no one to come home to here in the states it is going to be difficult to transition the medical treatments here as well as showing the consulate that she can support you. Its great to hear that she has started treatment there, but I'm not sure putting so much energy into immigrating here with her condition is the wisest move. I wish her a speedie recovery.
