We filed AOS on May 19th and got our interview December 4th, at the interview the lady said it all looked good except my husband had to get a varicella vaccine because it's not usually done in his country (England).

We went to the doctor and mailed it the same day and it arrived by next Monday (December 8th).

No news, no letters, nothing.. We never received a letter saying they received the paperwork they needed, when we check the status online it says waiting to schedule an interview (Which is obviously not the case because we had it months ago)

I don't know what else to do :( Help.

I'd call' em, if I were you. And ask to speak with a tier 2 officer...because he/she would know what's going on exactly

Sorry for the delay in your process.

Oh, thanks, I guess it's no worries... We had an issue with the work permit filing, and they ended up giving us two AOS numbers, to correct that I had to send a letter to close the one done in error. So; I was just starting to get a bit nervous!

lol I thought I was the only one with those thoughts! We spent three days fighting the dmv not to suspend his drivers license because he is still waiting for his AOS to go through, they tried to say that until it was done he couldn't drive anymore! But yet if he came illegally and went for a license, no problem??? Crazy systems we have here!!!

That's really odd! As long as he has a SSN he should be allowed a driver's license. I've never heard it being an issue because of a pending AOS.

Yes, he had a drivers license here in Pennsylvania, for a year, pending his AOS, which we filed originally in April, was accepted in May. So in January it was set to expire, he was told that they would not renew it without a green card, that the pending AOS meant nothing, even though the original license was issued with the K1 visa and a marriage license. I had to call the DMV at the state Capitol, and get them to call explain that they could indeed renew his drivers license

Strange, strange. I've known two other couples here in Texas that have married foreigners and its never been an issue.
