Anyone still waiting on RFE response review?

My 485 is stuck on RFE response reveiew since Aug 8th. I know it could take 60 days (or longer) but I see a few people on here that have since moved past that point.

EAD and AP still on Intial review from May 23rd.

I-130 - Sent early 2003

I-130 approved - PD Aug 2003


Initial E2 visa approved (04/2005) - 2 consequent renewals

 

FB3 Visa - Sponsored by my father in 2003

EAD/AP - Approved in 151 days


May 2014 - PD current

May 23rd 2014 - AOS package, AP and EAD for my wife and I

May 28th, 2014 - NOA1

June 27th, 2014 - Biometrics completed. Buffalo NY

July 7, 2014 - RFE for I485
Aug 7, 2014 RFE replied. Delivered byUSPS and received on Aug 8th, 2014

We mailed our package 5/5, it was received 5/7, and we got the NOA1 5/12. The check got cashed, too!

Hmm but we both have our EADs! That's unusual since a lot of people move to T&I before EAD. Maybe they are gonna send us the waiver letter ;_;

We are waiting too. We called USCIS on Monday, and they told us our local office of Houston is processing applications for February!! Then when you call and listen to the automated system updates, and it says that the file is in Nebraska?? I don't get that you send to Chicago lockbox, then its transfered to Nebraska, then the processing times are based on the local office?

We are waiting too. We called USCIS on Monday, and they told us our local office of Houston is processing applications for February!! Then when you call and listen to the automated system updates, and it says that the file is in Nebraska?? I don't get that you send to Chicago lockbox, then its transfered to Nebraska, then the processing times are based on the local office?

I have made 2 phone calls to them to ask about this question ( sent to Chicago, transferred to NBC, processing in local office). The answers that I got were exactly the same as what u got, which I don't think it's an accurate answer.

However, what I am thinking now is that, all the packages need to be sent to Chicago. Then, Chicago office will forward i765 to NBC or Nebraska, and forward i485 to field office accordingly to where we live.

The reason I assumed that it may work in these way cuz once check the processing time in NBC, it only shows i765, not i485.

What i still don't understand on top of this is that, they told me that USCIS is still working of "Date shows on field office" ( example, Mar 11,2014 for LA office- as the pic attached here), but I found some people who have sent their files around May already got approval and some got date for interview long time ago.

I don't understand why they waste the money to hire those people who could not even provide an accurate answer or solution to customers. ????

Yes and if you check june and july filers they are either getting waivers or interview letters!!

yellow2 , did you attach the front page to list all the details for your RFE? My lawyer told me it will get fast proceeded when USCIS review your RFE. I attached the front page and it seems USCIS reviewed my RFE pretty fast.

May 23 , 2014 - Mailed I485 Package to Chicago

June 10 , 2014 - E-mail , TEXT RECEIVED and check cashed.

June 14 ,2014 - NOA receipt I485 hard copy in mail.

June 16 , 2014 - Letter in Mail for Biometric appointment July 2.

July 1, 2014 - RFE received

July, 2, 2014 BIOMETRIC done

AUG 17, 2014 EAD in production

Aug 18 , 2014 Mail the RFE to USCIS ( Nebraska Service Center)

I was surprised I already got an interview date because St Paul office in MN seemed to be one of the slowest ones! When I checked their processing times a couple weeks ago they were still doing interviews from like december 2013. And now I already got a date, nice surprise though :)

We got back from Finland little over a week ago, now Im looking for jobs. Just had a job interview today that went well, hopefully I get the job!

How is every one else doing, and people with EAD's, did you find a job easily?

5/1/2014 USCIS received our papers
5/6/2014 NOA Date for all my applications

5/29/2014 Biometrics done in Detroit
moved to Minneapolis, MN June 10th
6/10/2014 RFE regarding my birth certificate(It was their own mistake, my birth certificate was exactly what they need)
6/11/2014 RFE response mailed to USCIS by our lawyer
6/11/2014 I-485 status moved to Initial review after telling USCIS our new address
7/2/2014 I-485 status moved to Testing and Interview

7/21/2014 EAD to card/document production yayy :)

7/22/2014 AP status chagend to post desicion activity

7/25/2014 EAD combo card mailed

7/29/2014 EAD combo card arrived at my old address(address was changed TWO times before that, even by my lawer and USCIS still had my old address)

-my parents-in-law are sending it to me overnight

Travelled to Finland with my husband for 3 weeks in August. Came back with my Advance Parole, POE in Chicago, no problems with AP.

10/7/2014 Interview date

10/8/2014 I485 status moved to card/document production! HAPPY :)

I don't think anybody in the June filers thread has received an interview waiver.

Has anybody?

I last remember reading an interview waiver for somebody from May 10th-ish filing date but nothing after that.
