@ NKrishMT - Looks like once you pay that invoice and send in the documents they says it's a 30 day wait till the IV bill and package. Good to know you are right on my heels, since it means they are moving things right along!

Thanks net2684! :) Oh, another 30-day wait then! But I'm still thankful we are at this stage. I'm hoping all May Filers would get approved at USCIS soon.

I already filled-out DS-261 today. They said we have to wait 3-5 business days for AOS bill to be invoiced. :)

Goodluck to everyone!

Hello again everyone!

How have you all been? Apologies I've been away for so long, my wife visited for a month, and I've begun the process of packing away all my posessions and selling what I don't need. I'm moving away in September to my mother's house to wait out the rest of the visa process.

Unfortunately, we're still stuck awaiting our NOA2 - has anyone else progressed any further since we last spoke?

Hope you're all well.

Hi all!

I filed for my husband and got the PD of may 5th. Mine went to Vermont center and I've heard that they're processing rather quickly. A friend of mine got her approval letter 3 months after she filed.

I have been checking the Timelines for a while (even though I have never posted here!), it seems that Vermont I'd processing second week of April,2014 petitions now. How accurate are the timeline dates? Can one get hopeful?

Also, what is required of the next step? I've read people getting a package together for NVC, what sort of information is needed? Perhaps I can start getting that together while waiting.

Good luck to all of you waiting as well. This has been indeed a test of patience for my husband and I. :)

@Kulfi - You need the petitioners tax information for the AOS, and your beneficiary needs to have their personal information. The guides in visajourney are what I followed and sent in. Hope that helps!

@NKrishMT - Just got a notice from NVC. I was so excited I went ahead and printed out a copy incase I accidentally deleted the email. But then I read the email. "Dear Sir/Madam, we recieved your documents on July 15th, due to increase in visa cases your time table with be at least 60 days before we look at your documents."

So for those who are waiting at service center wanting to get to NVC, it seems the waiting is just as bad.

Hi, thanks for the update! Our AOS is now in PAID status, but my husband is still waiting for his employment letter which we will include in the package. Hope he gets it soon. Yes, I read several posts about the "60-day" wait once they receive your package. :clock::cry: So yeah, the waiting is just as bad. I hope processes get a little speedier soon.

Goodluck everyone!

I called USCIS yesterday just to make sure there wasn't anything missing because I didn't want to receive a letter saying there's a checklist and delay the process even more. I was told that even though my center is Vermont and they have a 5 month processing time, I should keep checking online as a lot of them are getting approved within three months time.

I was just looking at the timeline processing dates and yesterday it was saying April 12th for Vermont and now it's saying April 2nd. How is that possible for them to be going backwards? Or is it how this site is set up that whenever people update, it shows that particular date instead of the most recent date?
