Dear Kind VJ Members

I am in AP since 09-2013.I send inquiry to US Embassy Islamabad for my iv Visa F4.They replied that

" As per our available record, your visa case is still part of an integral administrative processing, that can neither be waived nor expedited".

Any one can explain it in simple words please.

Thank you all members.

Apparently, based on your OP, the USCIS needs "additional time" to process your petition. This can be for several reason(s)... For example, the evidence/documentation provided with your petition and the interview, there might appear to be some question(s) or discreptancies that need to be investigated and documented. I am only speculating...

The process of being in "AP" shouldn't take very long, on average and I am speaking from my personal observations, about 90 days. Some people have had their "AP" less than 90 days and, like you, some longer. If I were you I would stay on top of the situation and call/email/whatever..., etc... the USCIS as much as possible to stay up-to-date regarding the current status of your petition.

Best of luck!

AP can vary dramatically, I've heard of cases of people being in AP for a year or more.

When they say "cannot be waived or expedited" they mean they have to do it and they can't make it go any faster. In other words the email you got back just means "you'll just have to wait".
