K1 Interview Inline: a couple of questions

My interview appointement has mentioned documentations that has to be brought on the day of interview but i am confused in the following:

>Complete the DS-160 application form online (you must fully answer all questions on the application) and print the one page confirmation sheet plus a print out of the fully answer form DS-160. where do i print out this fully answered form from??? i can only retreive back the one page confirmation

Form DS-156K

If your children will apply with you, one copy of Form DS-160 for each child must be completed in full. IS this form DS-156K a must for everyone or its only for those having kids and applying for their visa???

Any further tips in avoiding AP will be highly appreciated.

The DS-160 form is filled in online. At this site. ceac.state.gov. After filling in this form there would be a confirmation page to be printed. That confirmation page will be brought to your interview.

The DS-156k says if your children will apply with you. If you don't have any children this does not apply to you.

Yes but they are asking for fully answered DS-160 as well along with this one page confirmation.

That's weird. After I filled out DS-160 form there was disclaimer saying don't bring copies of DS-160 form to the interview. Only the printed confirmation page. I guess it might be changed now.

This is what mine said too... but now my interview letter says bring one page confirmation and completely filled application form as well... no confused what to do with this...

If so, this does not state you have to bring a copy of the filled out form. It says you must answer all the questions and print and take the one page confirmation sheet.

Thank you i think after reading content in this link i m sure that it is not required for the whole DS-160 to be printed and taken to the interview. they will only require one page confirmation to be provided and rest they can retrieve my application.

But What about my second question? DS-156K????

You only need DS-156K if you have any kid applying with you on a K-2 visa. The information therein would be for the kid/s. Otherwise (if you don't have a kid), you need not worry about it.

To miss sweet cake,since i saw that you are from philippines same as me,but i live and work here in UAE,what exactly the requirements the US embassy asked you to bring during interview,please do help me to have some info,so while i'm wating for me to be scheduled,atleast i have gather all the possibly requirements that they may asked.thank you for your kind help..

If you're currently in UAE, you might want to look into getting a police clearance while you're still there and also, if you have lived for 6 months or more in other countries as well, but I am not very familiar with that process. I think you need to correspond to the US embassy first for you to be able to request for one.

If you will be interviewed at UAE, you have to check the requirements in the US embassy in UAE website. I think it's either Dubai or Abu Dhabi, whichever is nearer to you.

If you are in UAE and you have opted for the US embassy in UAE then your interview will be at the U.S embassy in abu Dhabi... You will not be scheduling your interview but the embassy will do. After the consluate recieves your case from NVC give it 20days and if everything is going good they will send you email mentioning the date of interview and the panel of physicians where you have to get your medical done... they will also ask you for Police Clearance certificate and all your relationship documents etc...

Better to wait for the interviiew and then start working on collecting documents because they usually give dates for interview 2 months ahead... pretty slow

Thanks for the info K1 UAE, have you ever been experienced it before.for me giving atleast 1 or 2 months before the interview date is fine.what my concern is I need tine to gather all the docu they will be needed during interview, and also the k1 approved petition has expiry date.so im really dont know what to do now..?
