Greetings All....

I've successfully paid and submitted the AOS & IV forms & respective fees. How long does it take NVC to communicate or ship my case to Lagos? Am the foreign spouse of a USC from Nigeria and I don't know when I'd get the case complete & interview notification. I was made to understand I'd first have my interview letter before I can schedule my medicals. Anyone with any one on how much longer I'd have to wait should pls kindly supply same.

Your case isn't getting shipped anywhere until you are assigned an interview.

First you need to get case complete. After case Complete you are in interview queue June interviews should start this week.

Have you called NVC to see if you have case complete You said you submitted the AOS and IV when was that?

The case complete email comes 1 week after they have case completed you.

And yes you have to have the interview letter in hand to go to get medical. That is required for Lagos.

And as I said when did you submit your packets and figure 20 to 30 days to review and accept for case complete.

Paid AOS fee on 11 March 2014 & thereafter she submitted supporting doc, paid IV fee on April 8th 2014 & filled the DS-260 when it became available on 11th April but submitted it 12th April 2014. Sent supporting doc for the IV package to NVC last week & hoping they'd have received it by now. Does the case complete has to start from when they receive the AOS supporting doc & that of the IV we just sent or after we've filled and submitted the necessary paper work online?

Case Complete means exacting that you are done with all documents and they have been reviewed and accepted and you are now waiting fro interview.

Until you hear AOS and IV accepted and you have case complete you don't your AOS Should be done by now the IV about another 2 to 3 weeks.

Why not call see if your AOS has been accepted and if your IV package is in the system. Hopefully no checklist lurking. You should call for your peace of mind.

No. I been telling you all day you have to call. The case Complete email will come 1 week after case complete. You aren't done yet dear you just sent your IV its 20 to 30 business days to review. Why not call.

Yep. Hope it happens soon June interviews started getting scheduled yesterday. You need to be in the queue nowish.

My AOS was approved sometime in April & civil doc mailed off same April. How long will it take to get our case completed and how will I know case is complete? Will I have to have my us citizen spouse call NVC?

Well expect 20 to 30 days from when you sent in IV package. Case Complete email usually comes a week after they case complete you. Most call because they have lately been sporadic sending (most times they do, sometimes they don't).

Either one of you can call NVC and ask have you got case complete. Keep your eye on your email inbox.

They already have done the June interview scheduling so you will be in the queue now for July. Be sure when you get case complete t come on over to the Interview thread and also click in my signature for the Case complete to interview form so I can add you to the spreadsheet.
