Hey all,

I'm wondering if I should be worried about this situation. As you can tell from my signature our petition was approved just before Christmas. I got a letter in the mail on the 8th from NVC saying my case would be forwarded to the consulate. However, I never did receive my online approvals. I just checked my email and realized I had on there 8 emails from USCIS.

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On January 9, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F

PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you

move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

Should this be cause for concern seeing as it says they mailed my approved notice yesterday, and I just recieved the emails today? When I've already got my NOA2 in hand and letter from NVC in hand?

Yeah. I didn't realize before I posted there is someone else saying the same thing happened to them today. I guess they're just reminding me again that I am indeed approved! Nice to have frequent reminders I suppose.

Hi midicat,

I have a close friend, who is also on K1, got their NOA2 last December 27 but on their account it says the same date with you...January 9, 2007....She is from the Philippines too & their case was at CSC as well... :star:

June 2007 - our "big day"

November 2007 - 2-yr GC received

December 2009 - 10-yr GC received

Citizenship by next year!!!!
