That means you have a bad picture. I don't know what about it is bad since you tell us nothing about it, but please review the posted standards and see what about your picture does not make the grade.

I had the pic specifically taken for US standards....weird. I guess I will have to have a different one taken...THANKS!

The US standards mean the photo specifications (width/depth), not the actual file size(kb). Right clock your photo and select properties, check the kb size. if it's over 90kb, you can change it in windows picture manager and clicking "edit"

05-18-2022: Filed N-400 online. Received online NOA and Biometrics re-use.

06-03-2022: Interview scheduled (online notice).

06-10-2022: Interview letter received via USPS.

07-11-2022: Naturalization Interview

A friend can do it for you in your own place just stand in front of a white background, take pic according to state.gov instructions and then crop it so the size fits - you can re-size based on pixels or percentage of original photo.

That's what I did for my mom's visa photo - sister took it and it was over 1Mb, I resized and resized until it passed the validator and then mom submitted it.
