Hello everyone,

Thanks for all the great information. Now we have a question of our own. My fiancé's interview was on March 13th in Manila and we believe she was approved. They told her she could go home and her visa would be mailed to her. The CO told her congratulations as well. They kept her passport but would not tell her when she would receive the visa/passport back.

Now it has been over 4 weeks and she has still not received anything. We track the status daily and at first it was: "passport is still with post". A couple of weeks ago it read: "There is no status update available for the passport number submitted", and still reads that today. The ceac website only produces an administrative error when we try that.

Both of us have called the embassy hotline and they would not give us any information. From what I have read recently is that others have already received their visa in the mail while having interview dates after my fiancé's.

Is there anyone else who has been through this recently? I don't know if we are in AP as we cannot get any info. This is very frustrating for us and now we are getting worried that something has happened. Is there any other way to get the information we need? Anyone we can contact?

Thanks everyone

I got my passport back after my fiance called them 100 times and threatened with call Hillary Clinton, senator and stuff...hahaha there's probably a paperwork mistake somewhere, so, call and demand your passport just as my fiance did with mine. My passport was just sitting around in the embassy. 5 minutes later after my fiance called and made a big fuss about it, I got my waybill number to pick up my passport

Best contact 2GO as it is very likely they have the visa package. Info in my link below.

What contact info did you give for when 2GO calls/texts?

I've tried tracking through 2Go also with no luck using case #, passport # and the # from our appointment confirmation. I did just try the ceac website with Google Chrome and was able to see a status update finally, thanks for that help.

This is what I have now:

U.S. Department of State
NONIMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION
Ready
Application ID or Case Number: MNL2013783232 01 MNL Case Creation Date: 13-Mar-2014 Status Updated Date: 08-Apr-2014
Your case is open. Please check your status after two business days via the CEAC launch page athttps://ceac.state.gov/CEAC/.

For more information, please visit U.S. Embassy Manila.

So still a little unsure about how it is going but I feel that this is positive news. Does anyone know exactly what this "ready" means? Thanks
