Received email from USCIS regarding expedite request and need more info?

I put in a request for expedite and today I received this email:

The status of this service request is:

We have received your service request and researched the status of your case. We have had to perform an additional review and this has caused a delay in processing time. Your case is currently with an adjudicating officer. You should receive a decision or notice of further action within 60 days.

Anyone received similar email and did they really need 60 days or more/less?

What exactly is the additional review? My file is at TCS.

Its just there standard amount of days could be more could be less. Additional review is exactly that what ever reason you are requesting an expedite they need to look at it further.

No way to gauge how long sorry.

Does this mean they approved my expedite request or they will need 60 days to decide if they going to approve my expedite request or not?

no - they are looking at the service request,

not the expedite request.

when/if they look at the expedite request, the letter or email will contain different wording.

What you have is the response to the service request, not any response to the expedite request.

If I was in your shoes today (and I was, in 2012), I'd be on the phone talking with an ISO, a Tier 2 Human at USCIS, blethering on about the expedite request.

What you've received sounds like the result of a convo with a CSR, a Tier 1 Sub-human.

Yes I talked to CSR to expedite my case and this email above was what I got. What should I expect within 60 days? Desicion regarding my I130 or just an update on my case?

no, none of that, expect none of that.

I say have another go with the telephone tomorrow,

call in and get an ISO,

and start the expedite request anew.

CSRs are useless for many things.

So my case isn't with an adjudicating officer and still in the dark room collecting dust

My status changed yesterday to RFE issued. Apparently someone is actually working on my case. Still waiting for the actual letter in the mail. Hopefully something simple.
