I got my NOA2 for my fiancee last week. Fiance's high school goign child wants to come later (after school) in 2 years time and not come along with fiancee.

Has anyone been in this situation and if so, any special handling that we should be payign attention to. For example questions in interview, any forms to be filled out so the system knows of this plan.

FYI: Fiancee's child's name and details have been mentioned in the I-129F application.

Welcome to the forum.

Please review the DOS Nonimmigrant K-1 Visa FAQs for more information at that topic and more:

If the children come after the availability of the K2 visa, then a new visa process must be started:

Good luck on your visa journey.

The child can only receive a K-2 to follow-to-join within a year of the parent receiving their K-1. So, if the child will not be coming for 2 years, then you will have to file an I-130 for your stepchild.
