Hello all, does anybody know what the current fee for applying for the k1 visa is? Me and my fiance are about to apply and send them in the packet but we are wondering how much we should write on. Check. Months ago it was $340 but I Googled it and it said $240. I need to be sure, does anybody know,? I'll be really thankful

Avoid using anything other than US government sites for specific details about forms, addresses and fees.

The instructions for the I-129F indicate the fee. It's a good idea to download it and read it.

$340 for the I-129 packet. The $240 is for the actual visa paid at the us embassy when schedule for interview

Clarification:

It is $340 for the Form I-129F visa petition fee. It is $240 for the K-1 visa application fee. Agree with ExExPat to be sure to check the respective government website for the current fee schedule.

Be advised that Form I-129F is for Petition for Alien Fiance(e), Form I-129 is for Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker.

Good luck on your visa journey.
