It told me to gather all the documents then schedule an interview date online.

"THIRD: as soon as you have obtained all documents that apply to your case

3.schedule a visa interview at the US embassy

4.attend your interview at the time you selected making sure to bring the ds

-160 form and all supporting documents that apply to your case. As well as t

he appropriate fee for your visa type.

they said that if I have any questions about the new system to call. its for the algerian embassy

weird like it wants you to do things twice. but whatever i'd follow their instructions starting with the us government website ds160 then doing the ustraveldocs if that's what that particular embassy wants you to do.
