Hello together,

I have a quick question. My Husband and I got married a while ago and I soon have to remove conditions on my conditional GC.

Now I found out he is cheating on me with another woman. I'm nt sure if he is willing to file for removal of conditions with Form I-751, or if he is

going to leave me right before and I would have to pack everything up and move back to Spain?

I'm really scared and afraid, my husband doesn't know that I'm aware of his cheating....

Do I have to be worried? Back then we both entered the marriage in good faith and anyone would have guessed it will turn out this way.

I have nothing and nobody back in Spain and I'm rellay scared.

What advice can you guys give me?

Thanks!

Maria

You don't need him to remove conditions. You have a green card so deportation i wouldn't worry about.

Like you said you entered the marriage in good faith just start compiling your evidence now since you say husband doesn't know. And when that time comes to remove conditions you can do the forms yourself.

Collect your evidence of a marriage in good faith, then get out and file for divorce. There is a check mark on the form for filing the waiver based on divorce, and you'll need to explain why. If everything is processed before the divorce is complete, they will send an RFE for the divorce papers. You may have to get the case put on hold until the divorce can be finalized, but many states have pretty quick divorces if both parties are in agreement on the terms and file together. You don't need to worry about being deported.
