my maiden name is MUEHLPFORT

MUEHLE (german)= MILL (english)

PFORTE (german)= GATE, GATEWAY (english)

Hmm... my last name means "bright place" and his means a servant. OMG, but check this out - we each have our mothers' last names as second middle names, his means "bright land" and mine means "person who works at the court."

Our surname means "son of Martin" in spanish and my maiden name means "son of Watt". I guess thats as close as we are going to get. I figured there was no chance they would be anything close considering I already knew what my last name meant. It's neat to see they aren't that different after all.

My maiden name Miller - person who owned or worked in a grain mill

husbands surname and my now married surname : Ionescu 'romanian' means son of Ion.
