Hello guys, im not very good at forums but i couldnt find a answer for my question on this forum, so i am starting a new topic.

Me and my wife entered the US with a B1/B2 visa and got an i94 to stay for 6 months.

When the i94 was about to expire, we extended it, and got the extention and the new i94.

1 month and a half before the extention expires, i tried to change my status to B1D, because we are here as missionaries. We dont work, just help the church as volunteers.

Our i94 expired on October 14,2013 and just now on Feb 26,2014 we got a denial.

On April 13, 2014, it will have passed 6 months since my i94 expired.

My B1/B2 visa will expire just on 2021.

The question is: If i leave the USA before April 13 2014, will my B1/B2 visa be voided, or will i be able to come back with the same visa some time?

Your visa is void with first day of overstay, not 6 months of it.

Sounds like they got a 6 month extension so their extension date expires on April 13.

OP, did you enter on a B1 or a B2? What was the reason for denial?

You are out of status and should have departed immediately upon receiving your B1 denial, any time you stay will add to your length of unlawful stay and that eventual length will effect your chances of future visas and admittance to the US.

You must leave the country as soon as possible. Keep the letter with you for future reference. Upon denial of the extension you are supposed to leave the country within a reasonable period of time. The sooner you return home the better off you are and the more chances you have to demonstrate you did not intend to overstay. It has been a little over a week now and that can still be mitigated. If you just take your time your overstay will be considered deliberate and your visa will be canceled.

You are out of status. Once the visa change was denied, you are required to leave the US. You do not get to stay until April 13.

Your visitor visa is now voided. You will need to apply for and obtain another visitor visa if you wish to visit again.
