Quick question on complete cost of I-485

I am completing my package for my AOS and had a consultation with an immigration lawyer which flew past with me scribbling some notes down. He told me I should send 2 cheques with the package: $1070 and a further $420.

I can't figure out what the $420 is for and was wondering did anyone else have any idea?

The $420 is the fee for the I-130 but if you are posting in the right forum and adjusting from a K1 or similar then you don't need to file the I-130 and if that s the case then run as fast as you can away from that lawyer.

01/22/2014 I-485 placed in Testing and Interview status

05/07/2014 Received notification that interview is scheduled for June 12

06/12/2014 Interview. I-130 approved, but AOS pending decision

06/18/2014 Notification that Green Card has been mailed

06/20/2014 Received green card and welcome letters
