Hi,

My sister applied for her naturalization process form N400 in January 2014 and since then she has not heard anything back. She lives in Chicago. She is concern about documents sent were not completed . she applied after 5 years being a US green card holder. No crime, clean from any troubles, Never been out of the US since she got here. Here are the documents she sent when she applied, Please help us here if you think she sent the wrong documents of missing

1. form N-400 Application

2. Tax retunes for all her time she was here never missed one

3. Filing fee in a form of check – $680.00

4. divorce documents

5. 2 Passport Style Photographs

6. photocopies of I-551

You didn't need to send the tax stuff. However you said you sent copies of your I-551. Does that mean your actual green card, or just the stamp in your passport? The stamp is not acceptable.

you needed to send copy of your GC front and back, not the stamp, and the taxes you take them to the interview just in case they ask for them

Did she send it to the correct address, was her check cashed? You don't mention. You can see from the January filers thread that pretty everyone is past the biometrics stage already
