Don't you guys suspect something is wrong? Why so many people got their case approved (or at least got the notice that their case was approved) on Jun 17, 214?

I tried putting random application numbers in the "check case status" box on the USCIS website, which are similar to, but not the same as, mine and I saw the same message: "On June 17, 2014, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

Or call the USCIS, talk to a Tier2 and ask what's your last update on your case to be sure. Let us know!

I believe it's just a coincidence, I checked numbers close to mine and some were approved earlier, one was the same and others had not been approved yet. You have to realize how many applications they get in at the same time.....so I'm sure there are a lot that are approved on the same day and it just so happens that a lot of us update on VJ! No need to worry or over think it!

Anyways, today I got the physical notice in the mail that they had ordered production of my new card. So I believe this is not a dream- things never went smoothly with the USCIS before. It took ages for them to adjudicate my AOS application, and that was after congressman and senators were involved.

Sounds like too good to be true, but it is true this time.

Hi guys! Congrats to everybody that got approved!

My husband got text updates on June 12th and when I went to check online, this is what I saw...

"Initial Review

On June 12, 2014, your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance.

During this step, USCIS initiates the background checks of the applicant/petitioner and identifies issues that may need to be addressed either during an interview or by asking the applicant/petitioner to submit additional information or documentation. USCIS reviews the applicant's/petitioner's criminal history, determines if there are national security concerns that need to be addressed, and reviews the application/petition for fraud indicators"

So obviously I understand the # changed, but why "relating to your I-130"? We petitioned for removal of conditions. Anybody knows what's going on?

I got my physical notice in the mail today confirming my approval and card production effective June 17th! Fingers crossed that the card comes just as quickly :)
