Hi to all.., my NOA2 will get expire on May 2, 2014...

i paid my visa Feb 24 2014. when i got home ive waited for 8 hours before scheduling my interview appointment....

i was got shock when i found that the earliest day for interview is May 6, 2014 which is my NOA2 is already expired...

i ddnt expect that!!!

what should i do????????????? ive already scheduled the May 6 for the sake that im affraid for the slot will move/gone if i do wait until tomorrow...

my question is,, is this ok? it this possible? guy, plss help me, badly need your opinion and advises..

There's nothing you need to do. It's okay. The CO extends your expiry. Just go to interview you are fine.

For the K-1 process, the NOA2 expiration date is meaningless. Once the NVC and then the Embassy gets your case, they can keep it open for as long as they want. Nothing for you to do.

Just keep moving forward with your processing....the NOA2 is approved and

they allowed you to schedule your appointment. so go to the appointment.

We had same problem

Notify the IVManilaReplies@state.gov[/size] via email that you passed the date on your NOA2 for the following reasons.....(cite them)

They will reply with a long consular letter (email) stating you will be considered....we had good enough reasons

You must monitor the appointment page SEVERAL times a day coinsiding with the opening of the embassy.

For instance on 06 FEB ... I encountered

At 6pm CST only appointments for 11 and 12 FEB showed

Then at 9pm CST 11,12,24,25 FEB then showed

Then at 12am that evening, 25 March was added -- we took that.

So you must monitor persistently!!! Monitor in parallel with the hours of operation.

My fiance is the same thing, He scheduled his interview yesterday (24th) and his interview is also May. 06 =) His NOA2 says it will expires in May but I guess we don't have to worry about that. Are you staying in Manila?

Hi Chris&Dinah...... nice to hear/read that we do have the same date for appointment/interview... hope to see her/him on the day of interview.... and hope to meet her/him during my days in manila for my Medical exam.. i gonna stay in hoatel @ makati city...

im from zamboanga city... on second week of march, i fly going manila for my medical exam @ st.lukes

Don't need to do anything, the embassy will automatically extend the validity up to a year (they do the extension 4 months at a pop). So you are fine.

You will be fine. My fiancee's NOA2 expired in November 2013, but we could not get her an interview until January 2014. The CO will auto-extend your petition after your interview. No worries and Good Luck!
