Hello,

Just a question to everyone here who might know the answer...

in 2012, my at the time Fiancee and I started, filed, and used the K-1 process with the intent of getting married here in the US. She wasn't exactly interested in the cold weather and got home sick pretty quickly, so we vacated the planned wedding here and she went back to the Philippines. She was here less than 90 days, so we should be all good with all of that.

Fast forward to now, we were married in the Philippines just after Christmas (which was probably the right thing to do anyways..) and we are interested in restarting the visa/green card process.

Does anyone know... Do I start again with the i-129 or since we have already the i-129 in the system, do i just do the i-130?

Thanks

Ryan

Well if your married it would be an I-130 . You may want to hear from more experienced members about the prior K-1 and how to handle that when sending in your I-130 .

Being married in the Philippines was an awesome experience ! We are very happy we chose it even with the extra wait for a CR-1 .
