Hi everybody.

My interview is coming... 20MAR as FB1

My question is:

My mother is USA citizen but she is in brazil right now.

I saw that she must have her domicile at USA. What does it means?

I know that she must live there.

Is a red flag when I tell the consul about this issue?

Her intention is to come back when I go to USA.

Domicile = the country that a person treats as their permanent home, or lives in and has a substantial connection with!

Almost right.

Domicile = a legal RESIDENCE (not country) which is a person's permanent home that if she leaves temporarily she has the intent to return to.

I've seen cases where the visa wasn't approved until the immigrating person provided proof the petitioner is back in the US (pay stub from work, rent/mortgage payment...). How long has the mother been in the home country and not in the US?

ROC 2009
Naturalization 2010

She is back here more than six months.

Does they have information about when she came, when she left? about flies? dates?

She lives there but sometimes she come and stay for months.
