Hi does anyone have any insight into why after we completed the medical and sent in our form of applicant readiness, that now over two months have passed and we haven't a word from the london embassy? our visa timeline is at over 18months now, and we are absolutely at our wits end.

Update your timeline and also say exactly what you sent to London on what dates and maybe I can help.

Call the NVC now and ask them to look at your case and confirm that the embassy is not waiting for anything to be sent in from you. They will tell u if there is anything missing or needed in order to proceed. I called them today and asked and they told me the embassy has everything and it's just the interview date I'm to wait for. If they do have everything use the online contact form for the London embassy IV unit. U can also contact them on twiter on @USAinUKCGcorner they replied to my twitter message a few hours after I sent it.

It sounds like they're still missing something from you.

As was said, let us know what you sent and someone can probably help.

Okay I see your timeline dates now. I was trying to figure out if you sent paper forms before Sept when London changed forms and processes. (Because you mentioned 18 month process)

First review this thread http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/474161-london-k1-a-complete-guide/ especially Post 4 and make sure you did all 3 things.

You can call the NVC and ask as was suggested. The number is in Post 2 of the link above. Also you will see a link for the CEAC status check where you can see what status is showing and any dates they might post.

Or you can contact the embassy using this online form http://london.usembassy.gov/niv/visa_contact_form.html. Give them the dates you submitted DS-160, Readiness for Interview form, and date of medical and ask why you haven't received an interview. They say allow 6 weeks and you seem well past that. Count the weeks since your last thing was submitted. Tell them 8 weeks have passed so they see right away that you aren't some hysterical person who had the medical Monday and expect an Interview date by Wednesday.
