Hey,

We sent our I-485 packet last week, and it was "delivered" (to the PO Box) on 2/12. We still haven't received a notification via text or email. Any idea what the normal turn-around time is on that? I remember getting one immediately from the I-29F packet. Maybe it's just a busy time, and they haven't gotten to it yet. Just a little worried that it might have been lost in the pile of application. Thanks!

Tara

On the page " Check my case status " did you create an account ? You can select no or yes to mail or texts . If you haven't maybe you can try that . Or if you did maybe somehow its under " no " for both . Just an idea smile.png Maybe it will make another one for I-485 .

Or maybe just the holiday and snow storms have slowed it

Oh, that's a good point. I didn't think about the snow storm! I have the receipt number from the I-129F...do you think that would still work since I've now sent the I-485? Maybe I'll just wait a few more days then call if I haven't heard something. Thanks!

You would need your new case number to view the I-485 on the Case Status page. And the I-129F number won't help.

It took exactly a week to receive a text/email from them when they got my packet, which I think is about average. I'm sure you'll hear something soon.
