Hey everyone,

Happy to see so many people getting approvals and interviews!

Just one question...my EAD was approved today, but no movement on AP. Is this normal? I am hoping to receive a combo card :-)

Thanks!

Hi there,

Yes it does happen that you'll see movement on the EAD before they approve the AP. Don't be surprised if they approve the AP in a day or two which would result in you getting the combo card. Congrats on your EAD approval :)

So after 80 days I have finally moved on to the "Testing and Interview" stage. Is it possible for me to get the interview before May 27? That's my first day at my new job in another state and it would not be good to ask a day off from work soon after I start...

Thanks!

Hi, I was worried about the same thing, but a day later my AP status changed to Approved, so I wouldn't worry about it too much just yet :)

I know right. I would probably have the same feeling when I would be done with my interview. I had heard stories about people waiting around 6-8 months for interviews and approvals and here you got your Green card approval in a little over 2 months. That's amazing. Hopefully everyone else gets their applications as soon as yours....Congrats once again and hope you have a great time ahead!!! :) You would have to do another application in 2 years time, if I am not wrong??

Congratulation.....We have similar time lines so hopefully my approval will come soon :) Congrats again

Thanks a lot. Yeah, our timelines are quite close. Your NOA1 date is 7 days after mine so you should be getting approved by next week as well. FIngers crossed!!! :)

Getting the interview date after moving into Testing and Interview stage is totally dependent on how fast your local office works. Looks like your local office is Boston and other members of Boston usually get their interview date around a week after their status changed to Testing and Interview. Hopefully that happens for you as well...:)

Interview date is usually given 4+ weeks from notice of the date. I think you'd be very lucky to get yours before May 27! Fingers crossed I'm wrong & your field office works fast tho!

I think realistically it doesn't seem likely that I will get the interview before May 27. I should plan accordingly.
