Hi - I sent in my documents for my adjustment of status almost 3 weeks ago - I included the electronic notification form but have heard nothing.

Should I be worried? I sent it USPS without needing signature on arrival (only found out afterwards that you could do that). Paranoid its lost in the mail!

Also, does anyone know what the processing times are at present? Im located in NYC.

thanks!

It can take up to a month to issue NOA1.

You can check your bank and see if they take the money.

Or, your package was rejected and is being sent back to you for something like incorrect payment, missing signature, etc.

Nothing to do but wait. Good luck.

Why do people use USPS for an application with a fee of $1,070? Why not pay just a little extra for peace of mind and use FedEx or UPS? I think for third day air from Houston it was $30 through FedEx and we knew the moment it was signed for.

I know that doesn't help you OP and hindsight is 20/20 but as Harpa said all you can do is wait, hopefully you get a notice soon.
