Just want to ask if anybody here got a checklist for having the wrong purpose on the NBI clearance?

When I applied for one I put VISA-USA / Immigration Purposes on the purpose and the clerk just put Immigration Purposes on the final clearance. Will this be a problem? Do I have to get another one?

That's acceptable as long as its the green one.

If your annotation says NO RECORD ON FILE or NO DEROGATORY RECORD, you're good to go. Otherwise, you need a letter of explanation from NBI.

Is it green? Then all is good. As long as it isn't the yellow version.

Your NBI also needs to have been searched on all names you have used i.e. birth name, any aliases and/or married name(s). If you haven't had that done on the current clearance you have, you need to return to NBI and receive a new document.
