WOOHOO! After tracking our CEAC updates for 2 weeks since interview, our status changed to ISSUED today! We were waiting for my fiancés medical to get to the consulate. Only a bit less than 5 months from sending our package to USCIS, and we now have the visa ISSUED!!!!! (We were just expecting NOA2 now based on averages!!) After waiting 8 years and fighting for each other so hard and living for each other every day, we MADE IT! This site has helped us so much!!!!!! WEE :)

Congratulations! I was hoping you could help my finacee and me. Our interview is Feb. 18 and I am concerned that my fiancee's exam results may not get to Consulate in time. Can you explain why your exam results were late? How long did it take from the exam data to get to the Consulate? WHich city did you do your exam in?

Thank You everyone! It has been a great Journey so far.

Jeff,

My fiancé wanted to spend the least days in Rio since he had to pay for hotel and such...he lives in Fortaleza. He flew to Rio on the Sunday before the interview. We could only set up the medical exam on the Tuesday before the interview. His interview was on the Thursday. You can do everything in one day, if you want to cut down on costs...(even advice given by the doctor) It took 2 weeks+1 day to have our update to ISSUED. He knew at the time of interview that we were APPROVED, pending the results of the medical exam, so we knew that's all we had to wait for. Hope this helps :) anymore questions just ask.

Good luck to everyone else still in the process of waiting.
