Great news but a little confused. Case update text n email yesterday from csc. Case went from rfe received 08/01/2014 back to initial review on 07/08/2014, date it was transfered from nsc to csc. Today I received email from nvc with attached letter to my husband providing nvc case #, invoice id # and beneficiary id #. Also instructions for him to complete ds261.

I did not receive any noa2 notification and had no idea case was sent to nvc or when. Will update my timeline when I figure it all out.

Thank you God for answering our prayers!

Our NOA2 was approved 8/18/2014. I called USCIS yesterday to check if our case was shipped already to NVC as we have not received an email confirming this yet. Rep said I had to wait 90 days from NOA2 date for NVC to receive the case and communicate with us. WOW....that's a really long time.

I emailed NVC on Monday 8/25 asking for my case number & IIN (I know this is going to take a while to get). I will call by mid next month if I have no response but this backlog is insane.

Just fyi....in case others are also waiting for this "shipped" email or some type of response from NVC.

Good luck to the rest still waiting for NOA2. Hang in there!!

I was over at the NVC thread and noticed they're speaking about fee increases. As of September 12th the AOS and IV fees will increase.

AOS now $88 will be $120

IV now $230 will be $325

What a joke after they take so long to do their jobs. Grrrrr!!!!!!!

this is just outrageous.

they are increasing the fee, yet take longer now.

the cheek of them!! if they are demanding higher fee, at least do things faster (case complete) or within the previous time-frame (1-2 months).. sighhhh...

good luck to all of us at NVC and USCIS ( who will have to face this at NVC)!

Got NOA2 on 8/15/14, notice of shipment on 8/26/14 FYI.

Thanks! I was approved 8/18 and received the email today that it was shipped (11 days just like you!).

I have a question for everyone: my 129F was also approved on 8/18 and shipped today 8/29. The 129F is obsolete at this point right? I ask because the NOA2 they sent me had a visa deadline until 12/17/2014, so I wasn't 100% sure anymore if that visa was obsolete or not.

Thanks!

Thanks for sharing. :wow:

At least we can prepare for the increase...but this really sucks! If they only used the increase to hire more people, then it could be worth it right? Lol.....wishful thinking!

Anyway, thanks again...better start saving some more! <_<

How do you realize they receive the case? Do I have to call them, or do they email and text as well?

You have to call them to confirm it.

I'll call them and share their response on this thread when 1 month passes since USCIS's approval :clock:

Note: Although nobody knows the impact, my attorney doesn't recommend call NVC so often(everyday, for instance).
