Hi guys, I'm new here and I just filed my i-130 on 04-21-2014. I have a question..does anybody know if you have to file the i-864 if your spouse is outside the United States? I'm hoping I get my NOA's as fast as all of you!

When you get to the NVC stage after you receive your NOA2 YES the Petitioner will have to file a I-864 affidavit of support (AOS).

Our priority date is 20 February, and as of late, our timeline indicates that I-130 may be adjudicated between 08 July and 20 August. Anyone else in the same timeframe as ours?

I think we have the same timeline..my PD is 2/24/14. Are you from the Philippines too? I think we are the only one left who didn't get a NOA2 yet Based on timeline data here in VJ, my I130 may be adjudicated between March 15, 2014 and April 12, 2014*, but I didn't get any letter or e-mail yet.. I also submitted a I-129F.. Just got an email that they assigned a Alien Registration Number.. How about you? Any news?

Anyway, it's been six weeks since our case has been routed to Nebraska Service Center. I just checked our case status, and Alien Registration Number was changed on 21 March for both I-130 and I-129F.

I hope someone who's had their NOA2 received could enlighten us on a more realistic timeline and/or whether the estimates are close to being accurate.

I dont think the estimates are very accurate. Mine says march 24 to april 21.our case has not been touched since the original receipt date of march 5.

They currently say it takes 5 months to approve our cases but cannot do so.

However we see some apparent improvements as there are a lot of Oct/Nov/Dec 2013 and even a few Jan 2014 petitioners approved in this forum!

I think we should wait at least 5 months from your PD, praying for their much harder work

How do you know if your case has been touched in the USCIS website it has been 2 months and I know everyone is on the same page here. I feel they forgot about us

I am also at nebraska service center and my priority date is feb 12th....i am kind of bummed because it looks like if i had filed later i would have been auto expedited since i live abroad. Oh well.... we are still luckier than the people who filed a couple of years ago that waited more than a year!

I'm in Nebraska too. There is a Nebraska Filers I-130 too if you want more info.

Our PD is Feb 5, 2014. I'm anxious to see the March 2014 numbers for Nebraska if they have maintained their much improved pace for I-130s. Good luck everyone!

On March 28, 2014, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly.

This is my status on USCIS, but I still have not received anything from NVC? From what I research you should receive an invoice and request for AOS from them usually in 30 days- its over 30 days? We started this process in February. I have tried calling them but it is always busy? Should I just wait it out or try to contact them another way (I already emailed them- no reply).
