I would just write the case number at the top right of each page. Doesn't matter whether pen or pencil. Frankly, it is unlikely to matter whether you do it or not.

did you get your case number by phone when you called the nvc or by email or by post mail?

Over the phone but they still have to enter my unformation on their system so right now I am preparing my paperwork for then Affidavit of Support.

No, that's not at all what I said but do as you wish. I also said it's fine to do nothing.

If you have both case& Invoice# you can go ahead pay AOS and this will take couple days to generate and it will appear very soon as PAID while doin that gather all requirements as needeed as soon it ready to sent out..NVC will email anyway for the next step..

Hi Dens. quick question when do I submit the Affidavit of support? After filling out the DS261(choice of agent) and paying the $88 fee can I send it right away? or do k have to wait for NVC to say so?

Send the AOS when it shows paid in the payment portal. You're only delaying your case since that is the NVC "okay" to send the paperwork.

Once its paid in the AOS portal make sure you printed the barcode sheet, sending documents to NVC without barcode sheet will cause the delay of your case would be better put the case# right upper corner each sheet/piece(documents) photo ID copy of any documents , the reason why you doin that if any case one of the documents is missing or misplace of being careless.anyway nobody want that to happen

Make it nice and clear ,organize too make it easier for them to sort out your papers :) good luck
